This past fortnight the first content by a community member was submitted and released on the library. It was a really exciting time, but it highlighted to me that the community member might want the artwork and art style of the Talesmith Tavern to promote their contribution. As such, and with preparing for the scaling of the site in the future, I have built in image generation to take the library content artwork and key details and lay it out nicely in a square social media image. Additionally it adds a QR code on to the image that links to that library content to make it easy to share.
It has inspired me to explore more generative content resources for the library, as creating each new piece of supporting content will become tedious as the site expands. The future plan at the moment is to have the website generating PDFs for different content types, all nicely laid out, whilst thinking about the practical uses. Locations, story moments, character guides, will be able to come in printable PDFs. Spells and homebrew items I will explore, as they might suit better as a playing card size rather than A4. Stay tuned for updates around that.
