WordPress is a proven and versatile platform that fulfils all our content management needs. Combined with a few key plugins, it provides the perfect environment for us to build the robust systems Talesmith Tavern requires.
One of these key plugins is Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). ACF empowers us to create custom fields, custom post-types, and custom taxonomies within the WordPress framework. This allows us to tailor the content structure specifically for D&D elements like characters, locations, and story moments.
Additionally, the ACF Database Tables plugin from Hookturn takes things a step further. It enables us to manage custom database tables directly through ACF custom fields. This ensures a highly organised and scalable content structure from the outset, allowing Talesmith Tavern to grow alongside your epic D&D adventures.
